As a black female millennial dance artist and activist, my mission is to reimagine and help recreate an abundant and sustainable art making industry from the perspective of community engagement and immersive experience. I am committed to discovery and personal play, utilizing diverse modes of human storytelling through the body politic from the lens of radical inquiry, equity, and representation. In combining my interdisciplinary art making process with the mind-body practice and physical system of yoga, my intention is to hold space for the collective & creative rebuilding of our global community from a foundation of participatory art, embodied perspectives, self-love, truth, and transformation.
